Here are some of my favorite themes to shoot.
-
Hotels / Restaurants
I have worked in hotels. Many of them. I know what matters, what should be shown, and what dynamic should be put forward as a narrative. From motel to palace, hotels are awesome.
-
Weddings / Private events
There is something about those events. The mood, the individuals, the overall vibe. Higher chance for candid photos and capturing emotions forever in time.
-
Street photography
Basically what most photographers do at some point every now and then. Serves as practice, homework, fun, discovery, and mainly a philosophical journey for myself.
-
Personal photographer
Goes hand in hand with street photography. Following any subject on the streets, at work, documenting and providing candid and editorial content based on the end goal.
Paris Portrait Sessions
Paris as a mood, not a backdrop.
I don’t stage gowns at Trocadéro or pose tourists under the Eiffel Tower. My portraits are about atmosphere, gesture, and the way a person inhabits the city. Paris is the setting, but never the cliché. My forte is to make you shine as you really are and not what you think is best. Although your outfit matters to some extent, in the end its all about your inner charm, your attitude, what shows effortlessly, that natural swagger within. The more confortable you are, the better the results. Just let it flow, be yourself, be unique…

ABOUT ME
Experience.
I cannot complain. I got to shoot most of the time the things I like. I have started with street photography (back in the “iphonogaphy” days) followed by product and fashion photography (both outdoor and studio). Around that time I got lucky enough to work on promoting hotels and having to set up some serious system with a large volume of work. As for travel photography, it is naturally the utmost fulfilling experience. Today I focus on my 5 favorite fields with my clients.
Favorite photographers.
The legends: Henri Cartier-Bresson, Peter Lindberg, Vivian Maier, Patrick Demarchelier, Louis Faurer, Ernst Haas, Saul Leiter, Fan Ho, Masahisa Fukase, Garry Winogrand.
The living: Greg Williams, Christopher Morris, Joel Meyerowitz, David LaChapelle, Mark Anthony Fox, William Eggleston, Austin Schofield, Justin Tyler, Barry Wetcher, Pie Aerts.

I shoot Paris like a film scene: layered, candid, and cinematic. I use natural light, reflections, and textures of the city to tell a story, rather than setting up props or tourist clichés. And finally, I am a 90’s kid, I follow that vibe.
-
A tightly edited set: 20 to 50 shots. A mix of portraits, wide frames with the city as context, and close moments that feel personal. I like to focus on details, so some photos may not look like your usual profile pic but they will say a lot about you, to YOU. Because this is what the shoot will be about.

I don’t. You do. We go where you feel the most confortable. Good light can be found everywhere. I will not make you feel awkward. I may eventually direct you if we stumble on an extraordinary perfectly timed scenic situation, but overall we go with the flow.

Lightly. I suggest small actions — walking, pausing, looking — and let the natural gestures in between do the work. I follow, we chat, you get more and more confident, you let go, your natural traits start showing up. Frankly, this is a method often used in acting school, to see you stripped of all the superficial and let your soul glow, give you the chance to feel truly free and unbothered. You’ll love the final result. Thats what I do best.
the money talk

Here is the deal: I love what I do and I m good at it. Very good actually. I have the luxury to be able to choose my “clients”. The price is symbolic, just the bare minimum. My business model and main income is not based on individual shoots but on the institutional ones. Plus, it allows me not to have extra pressure and gives us both the freedom to keep it natural. The lower the investment, the friendlier the mood, the better the final result.

In full transparency, let’s say you go for the 120 minutes shoot. That’s 40 photos in the end, most probably out of hundreds. It takes me up to 2 hours to work on them - with all my genius and love - and upload them to the Dropbox. Add to that the 1 hour travel time back and forth to the area of your choice, that’s a total of 5 hours. You pay me 50e/hour. And I pay 25% taxes on that. You’re welcome.
-
Yes :) Absolutely I can print them for you on a postcard format, and that service will cost you 2 euro per photo. When it comes to book printing, I can recommend you a few good local places and websites/apps I tried before.
-
I use limited but expensive gear: LEICA. While my expenses are limited, so is the usage of each camera. Technically I should be charging more - especially when I shoot with my Leica M8 - but what can I say, I m nice (I guess).
