HCM — DOHA — PARIS: Aerial Moments with Qatar Airways
This year I boarded Qatar Airways between Ho Chi Minh City, Doha and Paris — and brought my camera with me. What started as a flight became a story told from above the clouds, through narrow fuselage windows and across the sky’s shifting light.
What you’re about to see isn’t just aviation photography — it’s a visual journey that connects three cities, two hemispheres, and one remarkable national carrier.
Photography aboard a long-haul flight presents unique technical challenges — reflections, tight spaces, shifting light — but it also offers a rare canvas. Here, I turn constraints into opportunity, creating images that are vivid, thoughtful, and full of atmosphere.
Through this visual lens, we witness not just an airline but the experience of flight: solitude, light, anticipation, and calm.
Whether you’re chasing horizons, airports, or moments of stillness above the clouds, this series invites you to look beyond destinations and see what happens in the sky.
This Qatar Airways series is part of my ongoing exploration of travel, aviation, and aerial photography. See the full collection, including behind-the-scenes notes and additional flight perspectives, on my portfolio page.
